Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Aging Infrastructure
ABSTRACT
The presentation will discuss Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered condition assessment and guidance to cost effectively manage collection system infrastructure. AI can effectively provide accurate condition assessment data from traditional CCTV sewer videos and produce AI-driven recommendations to optimize decision-making and refine system management and intervention strategies.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Marya Jetten, Jacobs
Marya Jetten is Jacobs’ Lead for Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation Solutions. She is a project manager, design lead, and civil design engineer with experience in leading and supporting large municipal water conveyance and rehabilitation designs.
She has experience in watermain and sewer rehabilitation, trunk sewer tunnels, watermains, utility relocation, permitting and approvals, and community engagement.
Marya won North American Society for Trenchless Technology’s prestigious Ralston Young Trenchless Achievement award in 2023.
